Robin Harbage Joins EMB America

Robin Harbage recently joined EMB as a C-Counsel Consultant in North America. Having served more than 27 years with two of the largest property and casualty (P&C) companies in the United States, Robin brings a varied background that will help him see the big picture for EMB clients.

After learning the actuarial ropes at Nationwide Insurance, Robin moved to Progressive, where he served as Chief Actuary and most recently as the North Region General Manager for Progressive Direct. His varied roles gave him the opportunity to oversee product development and experiment with some of the more creative innovations in insurance—from Internet-specific products to usage-based rating derived from electronically-measured driver behavior.

Robin is enthusiastic about his new role with EMB. "I've always enjoyed the opportunity to work with bright, innovative people," said Robin, "and that's something that attracted me to EMB. As a corporate P&C manager, I valued EMB's expertise and software. I'm looking forward to working directly with this great team and helping EMB's clients overcome challenges and improve their results."
