Overview:
We continue to build on the strengths of the consultancy and need to recruit the right candidates to become involved in many new and exciting developments. You will initially assist in the provision of statistical and financial analysis. With experience to carry out analysis and control client work with review by more senior staff. You will be encouraged to develop your skills and become a key player of our actuarial team from the start. We will provide full study support for the actuarial exams and an excellent remuneration package.

Attributes and skills required:
• a degree in actuarial science/mathematics/economics or related fields
• strong analysis and problem solving abilities
• excellent computer & communication skills
• good written and oral communications skills
• ability to work effectively both within a team and independently
• ability to work with initiative, enthusiasm and flexibility
• ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritize workload
• ability to identify and interpret features and trends in data
• ability to interpret figures within commercial environment
• sense of humor!

Projects in which you may assist include:
• claims reserving exercises
• pricing projects
• development of software tools for internal and client use, e.g. spreadsheets, visual basic for applications
• management information projects
• contract evaluation
• client training

Key roles:
• assessment of data adequacy and reasonableness
• data processing or management
• review and modeling of data
• production of results and reports
• liaising with clients
• presentation of results at client meetings
